At BP Europoort our Chabel Thermo Protect is applied to close inwater points to prevent CUI. C(orrosion)U(nder)I(insulation) is a common problem in industry. Inwater points on, for example, columns and reactors are often sealed with silicone sealant that is quickly weathered by aggressive environments and weather influences. Our CTP is not affected by this and is therefore more durable in sealing. It also has an extra insulating effect.
